There are a couple ways to get Tendo Frags for free:

- Ultimate Training (76 frag)
- Chase Missions (1 frag per chase)
- Hot Topic Events

  • I said "arguably he's one of the strongest in the game". I know very well how lacking this ninja can be but that's only if you can't get him to ult, if you do get an ult out of him with a 1st mystery lighting you're almost guaranteed a first level oneshot. Also list me another ninja that allows you a selected target chase chain in LVL 1. If you can outplay your enemy's interrupter level 1 that means there's a high chance that you oneshot his highest priority ninja in the 1st round with your mains 1st and the following chases off of tendo's ult. I speak from experience btw I think lighting, mabui, tendo, bee 7 line up does an extremely good job against mei, gnk tenten, mabui teams or any of the trending teams atm. I'm only 65k BP lvl 86 btw and the people I face in pvp are usually with 5-6k BP over me but I still finish at least top 5 realistically 80% of the time. Also for some reason his chase must ignore a % of the target's defensive stats like Masked Obito's chase bc there are fights I win solely thanks to a mad 7k crit tendo chase on a better geared player than me... He's not a super rare for no reason lmao This post was last edited by s73 kurami at 2017-7-17 23:44
There are ways you c*e Tendo where you don't even have to worry about interruption. He is native immune to interruptions, so combine him with Gikido and shield Tendo to make him immune to status effects then you don't have to worry about Immobile or Acupuncture.

The team I like with Tendo (not on my account cause I don't have him -.- ) is:

Lightning Main - Mabui - Tendo - Gikido

  • I like gaki but he just doesn't fit with what I'm trying to pull off in level 1. You see when you swap Bee for Gakido you don't get to level 1 ult with Tendo if you're not running the "chakra dummy" lighting main with 3,4,X,X,2 talents. I heavily dislike Tendo teams like that because you sacrifice too much by making your main a chakra dummy instead of the single target dmg monster he's made to be. So thanks to Bee I'm free to choose whatever play style I see fit, I can go for 1st, 3rd or 4rh mysteries in level one and not lose any dmg. I prefer his 1st because not only it helps with the level 1 oneshots but more importantly I can support Tendo with it and what I mean by that is when for example your opponent has a slot 1 or 2 interrupter it's almost certain that he's gonna try to use it on tendo when you cast his ult so what you do with your main is bait his interrupt, you target his interrupter with your mains skill that way he's forced to either use his interrupt on you or use it on Tendo or be sealed by you without getting anything in return and probably losing the match afterwards. What ends up happening is say Ao goes for tendo and seals him away but then mabui dispells tendo and he's perfectly fine to drop his ult on them anyway, or Ao goes for your main and you're both on cool down but that's fine for you because Mabui will probably dispell your main right after and tendo is untouched. Water teams can give you a hard time pulling this off because if he doesn't derp and rush Ao's mystery you seal him away but then his main dispells him with her heal and Ao helplessly seals your Tendo anyway. Tbh that rarely happens and there are other options to beat this if it occurs but this is getting too long so ill stop  This post was last edited by s73 kurami at 2017-7-18 00:36

That's the team I like to use with skills 2,4,4,3,1 and Dog of hell.

Turn 1 I usually shield Tendo, then queue up his mystery once Mabui goes. I target their first position to ensure my LM can go next turn because I will get the acupuncture. The mystery plus combo usually lays on pretty heavy damage on the target. Turn 2 I use my LM to target a mystery I don't want getting off (like a WaterM heal). I know there are better ninjas to use than Gikido if you are going for damage, but he just adds a lot of utility that I find is better than the extra damage.
