  • look like someone missed comprehension
No, you need better writing skills.

For example, what is this supposed to mean?

"...for exampe 30k power ranking brack 56, 57 and so on..."

I mean, I get the general gist of your idea, but as far as detail goes, it's a mess.

I'm also curious as to what you are using for viewing and posting on the forum. I know chrome have spell checks, it helps me a lot because I frequently spell words wrong. In fact, I actually typed example wrong exactly like you did, in the exact same way, but chrome caught it. It would help you as well.

As for your idea, I agree to a limited extend.
As it stands, there IS participation reward for the top 30k, which should suffice to catch all active players.
Personally, I feel that when there isn't a participation reward, then the competitive reward should cover ~25-50% of the population. Whereas when there is participation reward, 10-25% should suffice.
Given that, if your server cluster contains more than 1280 active* player, it should be split up somehow. I know this might be a problem for some clusters, but I'm also sure it is not so for all clusters.

Active: my definition of an active player is one who completes all daily quest everyday and, on average, miss no more than 2 of (including 2 of the same event) fox, sage, GNW, masuri, cat quiz each week. Do SA(if needed, I'm done with medium thread so I don't) weekly and convoy/plunder daily.
You'd be surprised at how few truly active players there are.

Now, exemption for level-suppressor must be made, for them, an active player is one who completes but not necessarily receive the daily quest rewards and can miss all the fox, as fox grants exp which might be undesirable (I'm not entirely sure if any of them lightly tap the fox for the magatama&coupon, since exp scale with damage if they only do like 1000 damage, it should be fine.)

Anyway, I am against the mentality of everyone should get stuff. I especially don't condone giving free stuff to players who aren't really trying. Granted, given the current way stuff are set up, players that work hard in later server might still not get stuff where as lazy ones in earlier server might. Unfortunately, I have no immediate solution as to how to discern that, except narrowing down the server range which will have its own problems.

  • not those kind of rewards they are not meaningful at all...
But they ARE.

I personally always rank top 128, thou usually, as a ftp, lose on either the 1st or 2nd round of the tournament. By far, I find the time space credit I earn in the season, which is around 5k, to be more useful than the token reward I get in the tournament.
You'd literally have to get top 16 to get anything truly valuable compared to the tokens, and frankly it's hardly reasonable to make that sort of reward wide spread.

As for your reply to my previous post...
Where is this 32k coming from? Your original post said 30k... and then something about 56 and 57 which is what I don't understand about. Not only did you not explain what that is about, now you are talking about 32k... Did you even try to read your own post?

  • Why do i feel like your all going against my 'SUGGESTION'

anyway idc anymore it was a nice try, and for the reply jesus do i really have to explain this word by word.

The 32k was a mistake i meant 30k as i previously posted my bad, the 56 and 57 was SUBDIVISION for the 30k power range i gave any example say each subdivision held let just say 1000 players for the 30k power range (as if:lol) when each subdivision gets full its makes a new one, hence the 56 and 57 its was just and example.

And no i didn't re-read the first post i just addressed the problems you stated.

    Anything else you don't understand?

You got my using different lines now.

    It.

    Seems.

Professional. This post was last edited by The SageArtist at 2017-7-7 14:29
wait, does that mean, following your example, there are 55 divisions "above" the "two" 30k divisions, implying there are up to 55k with above 30k power?

The exact values aside, is that the general gist of the idea? That the 56 and 57 is the "division number" (and then, perhaps, 29k being 58 and 59, 28k being 60 etc? While I don't think there are, for example, 1001+ 29k players, this is just an example, trying to understand what you meant)

In any case, it's REALLY confusing when you start in the "middle" using arbitrary numbers without sufficient sequencing to show a pattern.
PS. Number of player/division are written in italic whereas power number underlined, to avoid mixing of the two from causing further confusion.

  • URGGGH IM I REALLY THIS BAD AT EXPLAIN

Im gonna make this tenten levels of simple.

Yes but no at at the same time if is there are 55k diviisions above the 30k power bracket then that would mean that 55 + 30=85k power bracket, if you meant subdivision then lets put it this way if there are 55k subdivisions for the 30k power bracket then yes that would mean there are 55 thousand pople with 30k.

No i dont want them to number power brackets the power bracket power would be the number its self example(10k power bracket, 20k power bracket...etc).

And no wait what how can the lower players have the highest numbering if thqibwacchxkabishj JUST NO i dont want them to number the brackets, they number the subdivision

Anything about this you dont understand tell me im here all day
What is, then, the association between 30k and 56, 57?

How are those values related?

  • 30k is related with it because lets just say there are fifty six and fifty seven subdivisions for the 30k power bracket....
How big are each division then? Like 16? I mean you latter had an example of 1000 players, that can't be how many per division since I'm sure you don't think there are actually fifty six thousand players at around 30k power. So.... I'm guessing you meant 1000 or so player total divided into 56 division within the 30k bracket? Which comes to 17.8 each, the closest reasonable size would be 16 for a tournament.
