If you want to win. Fill up the fields that give 10, 8 and 3 points.
EDIT: I think that is Fire/Lightning/Iron

depend on your main, if you're using wind then i suggest using the Kage Gaara, Pain Gakido, Sage Naruto lineup
EDIT : oh, i think i read it wrong, anyway, if you want to win in GNW, put your strongest player on the top row, while *ter the weak around just in case if the enemy didn't put anyone in the lower row This post was last edited by TayuMaki at 2017-7-6 12:33

You need 3 tables to win minimum, so can try splitting your players to 3 tables and have 1 or 2 on other tables (if you have players) to get the point incase they left it empty. Among the 3 tables, try to synergize the 3 players in a team so you can maximize the damage that can be done. Focus on the same player and ninja if you want so that you can quickly break your opponent's combo or damage potential. Communicate with your teammates what your actions are so that damage isn't wasted. Get your group summon up, can deal a lot of damage and even change the flow of the game.

Plan the teams so that there aren't competing barriers. If you have 3 players using Tenten/Mei then stack them all together in one field. Ideally they'd be able to burst one team down before round 2 even starts.

If you have someone using Tendo try pairing them up with a Fire main who uses the Shield. That way the Tendo is protected from debuffs and he's already immune to Interruption.

Change up your field placement every Saturday so you don't become predictable. Don't always go for 10 8 7, or 8 7 6, etc. Or alternatively, do something a few times in a row so you do become predictable, and then switch it up. If you usually do 10 8 7 try 7 6 5 3 so that they stack their strongest players in 10 8 and leave the lower fields weaker.

Don't put players using manual barriers together, like Sasuke with a Hashirama.

Make sure to have different sources of damage like poison and ignite. You might run into a team of Sailor Sakuras without any ignite on your side and end up timing out.

Focus down one team before moving onto others. A lot of times people will automatically target whichever ninja they think will use mystery first, but ideally you should just finish off the weakest teams as soon as possible. That's especially true for teams using healers or shields.

Take note of skills that affect the entire field instead of just each player's team. Lightning's Anbu Tactics, the various elemental shielders, the "type" buffers like Konan for Akatsuki and Bee for Jins. Stacking a field with 3 Bees and 3 Narutos will make sure they're extra strong.

my friends and i usually played 2 aoe teams and 1 support team that provide utility to other teams.
we go by the kage's barrier and universal buffs.

or depends what team we wanted to do.

We usually try out in Group Instance first to see if our strategy works properly.

I usually played support team, where I provide cc's, debuffs and survival-ability to my friends' teams.

I love Kurenai atm. Her heal and shield is greatly underestimated.
