I would like to add some insight to the Han/Obito debate and explain why these 2 will change things a bit. First of all Han is the free option and Obito the money option, both are valid choices.
Ok so what is a "meta", the metagame is defined in gaming culture as the most efficient way to play a game, its not the only way, but it is the method with the widest array of success. In Naruto Online at the moment that meta is centered around midnight blade teams with Hidan/SusanooSasuke/Danzo and its update with Roshi and Killer Bee. These teams have the widest array of good matchups. Now because of that people will build counters to the meta the most popular option are the "blitz" teams and the double/triple healer teams. This block of teams form our present metagame, with players switching from one option to the other depending on what they face (mostly seen in space time, as this is our current best ladder).
Ok we now established our "meta", what do Obito and Han do in all this? Han's biggest selling point is that he removes all buffs from both teams which pretty much ruins the previously mentioned "blitz" teams he also has an effect on the Hidan teams by removing the "root of warrior" passive, but his effect is lestened because Hidan still does dmg based on hp, Roshi/Sasuke still have amazing kits and the healing part of "anbu tactics" also remains. Han's mystery is also mostly useless vs the healer teams. Obito has his amazing turn 1 zero chakra immobile that also removes all buffs on the target, again excellent vs the blitz teams, mostly irrelevent vs the healers and ok vs the Hidan *.
What will this do to the meta? My prediction is the meta will slowly switch to more "debuff" centric teams, the healer teams remaining mostly intact and the Hidan teams less impactful, Scarlet Blaze will make a big comeback because of that as he has huge utility in his kit. Crimson Fist gets some solid buffs in the upcoming update also and even though Han and Obito deal with shields quite well, he spams shields at an insane rate and I believe it will keep him relevant.
In conclusion, Han doesnt flip everything over its head, but the effect he has is gonna force people to play more utility teams and less "murdery" teams. People can still use "blitz" teams to "cheese" unsuspecting opponents, but it will be a 50/50 of hitting a counter, at best, in most queues and events. It will still remain a valid attack strategy in space time if you can dodge the more plentiful counters. Again this is my opinion and I might be wrong, but I believe my facts are correct.
TLDR: Han and Obito are awesome. I rekt ur mom. Read my text. This post was last edited by SpartanX at 2017-7-18 01:10
