Well, just going to point this out. The Sharingan can see through jutsu's as well not just copy them, notably Genjutsu. So this could be a mutation of the Sharingan.

'Cause that's the very first design of that character- original concept by fan and redrawned by Kishimoto. I guess many things were changed while making him the game character- so most likely can't give much info about Scarlet in game- but that's where his concept came from :victory:
