Nope. It definitely does look like lip*. I'm looking at another picture of Haku right now and he didn't have lip* before.

Also, I got that idea that Scarlet is basically kind of mirror version of Haku- Fire instead of Ice, both using mirrors in their jutsu, Haku's clan was said to be wiped out if I'm not wrong and there's some info in few places about Scarlet- some clan sharing the same sad faith- and probably with kekkei genkai too (uhhh the little info we get about them...). And finally- how many people were thinking that Scarlet is a girl ;P -

Well- my digging of info from few different translation lead to something connected to his eyes- so dojutsu, but it's somehow different from sharingan- it doesn't copy jutsu but "see throu it"- let users of it find weak points and/or weaken that jutsu. And there was probably a clan, that got wiped out. When you awaken main char as Scarlet- he says "For the honour of our clan"......what if Scarlet clan was hated by Uchiha since of kinda similar dojutsu and it were some Uchiha members to get rid of it...
OR it's some mutation of sharingan of ninja somehow connected to Uchiha but not full blood members....

It's from overal info I could find anywhere about him, tried to link it all together and this is the result. "Scarlet Blaze" is his name only in english version it seems, while original is something like "Lotus' Pupil/Eye" and when you look at his clan mark on jacket on this pic:
It does look like a red eye- therefore his clan most likely do have dojutsu. As for Uchiha- that clan is mentioned in his bio info somehwere- translation don't give any more light on it tho :/Here some links for trying luck with digging infos~~

'Cause that's the very first design of that character- original concept by fan and redrawned by Kishimoto. I guess many things were changed while making him the game character- so most likely can't give much info about Scarlet in game- but that's where his concept came from :victory: -
