1＃ Go ToSo I have 396 medium refines and 234 advance refines. If the lucky board has medium refines to claim I can get another 200 from there.
My current refine levels on my equipment is everything is level 5 except for 1 piece which is at level 6. I understand I need to go up 2 levels in refines to make use of the event properly but if I do that the level 5 refines become 7 and the wish bonuses will be wasted if I don't have enough advance refines to push them to 8.
What's my best course of action here? Just push to level 8 whatever I can and go for level 7 with whatever is left? Btw I know 600 medium refines aren't that much considering the levels my gear currently has, it's probly going to be enough for like 4 or so equips.

Personal experiece: During Limited Refinement events it takes me 90-100 med refines to upgrade from 5-7 (80-90 if 4-7) and from there 100-120 adv refines from 7-8.
In your situation, 600 med runes and 230 adv runes, you can possiby do:
1. Upgrade 2 equips from 5-8, eating 180-200 med runes and all of your adv runes. Preferably choose the equips with good initiative purification (purple/gold).
2. Upgrade 3 or 4 more equips from 5-7 with your remaining med runes. -

- Unless you are a heavy spender, you should AVOID having equipment at level 7. If you do not have enough advanced refines to push straight to level 8, just leave the item at level 6. It will save you a lot of advanced refines in the long run.
Yeah keeping them at 6 till i can push till 8 is ideal, but collecting advanced runes is getting really hard now with cross server sage. A majority of my advance refines came from when sage war was limited to my server. I will keep your advice in mind though.
To KenR thnx for mentioning how much it took you to level up your refines, that info will definitely help me plan out what I'm gonna do. -

Im doing this try avoid lv7 as much as can go up to lv8 if possible when event(s) on so yeah keep in mind this advice , oh and i used 7 med rune on an equipment it was lv6 0/100 and upgraded to 7 ... What? Good luck for everyone whit the refining -

You probably want to go with the course of action that can maximize the amount of items you can have at level 8. look at your best purified items (for initiative), refine them up to level 8, and see how many you can do. You might be able to get 3, possibly even 4 if you're lucky. Then use enough med refine after that to use 500 runes to collect more adv runes. Then pause and wait for the next month's refine event and do the same. Hopefully time limited and refine will be combined going forward. -

I understand that this means you won't take advantage of initiative for a very long time, but on the long long run it should save you around 100 adv threads that wish gives from 7 to 8. -

make position 1 all equip refine lvl 8 better than have 1 lvl 10 and the rest lvl 6 -

Took me 97 to make the same thing happen, so I would say you were lucky bro. -
