So what was said earlier is in essence correct. Each treasure has its own separate counter system and if by chance you have not pulled a designated ninja by chance, the system will award you with a designated ninja after *lotted number of pulls (free pulls and seals). Once this designated ninja is pulled, the counter (to get a designated ninja) will reset back to zero.
