It's the sum of all base stat of all your tools.
Even if the resistance connection is between, for example, mask and book, neither of which have resistance, you will still gain bonus from your necklace, ring, kunai, gourd and scroll. The top tier base stat of those are 45, 40, 50, 50, 40 respectively, which totals to 225, so you will get +22.5 resistance (will be rounded one way or another, I'm not sure which. And if you have two such connection, you might get 44, 45 or 46 total depending on how the game works) -

Ok thanks for clarifications. I runed some tests and couldn t find the way that procent is working :) Talking about that rounded part :)
And that strengthen amount counts as well ?
