Yesterday, exactly to prove how the things don't work at all in the matching system, i avoided to complete the last mission of chapter 9, leaving myself at level 88 deliberately.
I expected, due to the way SWB distribution is supposed to work, to be in a field together with some other 88s, some very strong 87s and some very weak 89s.
This didn't happen at all. My field was wholly composed by level 89s way stronger than me (i'm 53k power, i didn't meet a single level 89 with less than 65k power).
I want to understand how this is possible because due to how you claimed here: http://forum.naruto.oasgames.com ... 9758&extra=page%3D2 cross server sage distribution should work, then the largest part of the stronger people than me i should have met should have been level 87, while 90% of the 89s i should have met should have been a lot weaker than me (there are plenty of 89s in the 43-53k range of power).

  • Hello,

The most likely reason for your situation was a lack of players to fit your field.
Each field fills with players until it's full, thus less players participating would mean bigger power gaps.
Yes, but the issue is that shouldn't be any lack of players in my field if the way you say the matching system works is the one that was showed in that thread. My field should have been filled with some of the strongest level 87 if the lowest 89 and the whole 88 weren't enough to fill it.
What doesn't make any sense, due to the way the distribution is supposed to work, is that strong level 89 were there. I don't complain, i want to be the clearest possible about it, because losing against an 80k level 87 is exactly the same as losing against an 80k level 89. The point is that if the matching system worked as you claimed to do then only level 87s in that field should have been high powered, because the weakest leftovers of the other level 89 fields should have been put in my field.

  • Remember its not distributing based off of server population, but the population that is "registered" for distribution. Therefore, its a matter of who is showing up to register then. Some people just dont like sage and have chosen not to attend, and others just cant attend at the time the event is on to play the event. After removing those two groups of people u get the die hards that like pvp and are always registering and most of this population is ranked towards the top end of bp in most servers. So for the most part the game is just doing the best with what its given.
yes, you are right, but then, moreover, there should have been there a lot more 87s even weaker XD
