[ Help ] Proper way to use refines?

I have around 400 medium refines saved up and I have been looking through the forums and watching youtube videos about how to use refines properly. I know to wait until an event to use them, but my plan is to stay at one level to get easy advanced refines from sage. Should I take each piece of gear to level 7 or should I take it to 6 for when i have enough advanced refines to level up the gear? Or should I level up each refine 1 by 1 like magatama and rune stones?
P.S. I have all level 4 refines already.

If you can be top 3 in sage every time, it takes about a month of sage to get one gear to lv 8, twice that for 9 and double again for 10.
So I'd say it's safe to get most gear to 7, because if it comes down to it, 4 pieces of gear @6 will last you 2 years of collection if you want to get them to 10.

I don't think I like your method of staying at a lower level for easy refines, no offense but that is one of the reason why so many have quit sage world altogether.

If they ever fix the way cross server sage works I will level up but matching me with people who have 10 and 15k more power than me just isn't fun

I know this is late but that doesn't justify what you are doing, that is just as bad as being matched with 10-15k more power.

Delaying leveling is quite normal in online games that have events where it divides level first instead of other factors. OAS failed to counter this issue and instead encouraged this behavior even more with cross servers events.

I personally refine from 1 to 4 on all gear, then I'm doing 4-6 on all gear. Then working on 6-10 on everything to keep everything mostly balanced.

Step 1. collect a large amount of them while waiting for rebate. Step 2. keep waiting for that *ed rebate.
Step 3. Get mad waiting on rebate and end up using them somewhere along the middle of this weeks events. Step 4. Cri when you see rebate on next weeks events.

Try looking back at the event updates. You'll notice a trend to expect the refinement rebate each month.

refine 1 to 7, then another one 7, then another one to 7...keep a few on 4, and stack advanced refines to turn them into 9s.
