\ \ \٩(。•ㅅ•。)و/ / /We arrive in the bright signature flash of the Shunshin Jutsu, but have no accommodations such as leaves nor fire was added to it by some Jounin and Anbu to dress to impress. Me and Kurama are meant to be discreet- not showy.Silently passing the door, we enter the Hokage's office, twenty or more varying Anbu already gathered in their leader's presence, their mask's eye-holes casting shadows over their eyes and rendering them indistinguishable to prying eyes that are cursed without the power of any Doujutsu. The moon creeps through the glassy windows and casts a comforting spell in the eerie atmosphere, the tension in the air suspended in suspecting suspense. The Anbu share darting glances at each other before a few glare at us harshly in a silent demand to know who exactly we were and what sort of permission we had to walk right through the front door without inquiring the Hokage's consent.Me and Kurama stand in front of the door, the wood blocking the light blue glow of the nightly orb floating in the sky. My demonic fox's orange and red slit-pupil eyes set to glare at all the Anbu who dared look upon them, casting a spell of inferiority upon all who had the audacity face him. It is enough to scare the doubting Anbu (Probably recently recruited, I note. The other, older ones are quiet and know our place.) off his trail. I nearly scoff at his superior attitude, throwing a sidelong glance in knowing that this usually brash and loud furry would normally be slicing through the tense area in an awkward and unrefined way.Showy yourself, coward.Unfortunately, with the questioning views of the recruitees the bright illumination of the spacial ball hued a silvery blue was directly shone onto my eyes, ths one blue and the other red eye conforming to a hauntigly ghastful combination. My pale blue eye hovers over the room's occupants in a childish game, one that dares you to look me in the eye to challenge my authority and never break away. Should your gaze faulter, it would be wise to never try again. I am not in a good mood, (Rightfully so, as well. I've just gotten off a mission and am already being pulled back by my leash for another) and extremely unwilling to put up with some goody-two-shoes know-it-all Anbu who render themselves capable enough to put me in 'my place' simply because they think I am a demon. My red eye, though, shows my true colors. It was empty. Uncaring. Lackluster despite the glow of la luna, I hold not a care in the world but merely irritation at the fact I have been called in the middle of the night. Despite this, their conscious is trapped on my other eye that captivates yet trembles them. The young Anbu shrink back slightly, their breath hitch back in fear of what would happen to their lungs now that they've acknowledged me as the demon container. I could've sworn I'm hearing the older and more experienced Anbu cough back laughter at the taut and white, blood-drained knuckles of the Black ops' juveniles."Hiring baby chicks to be velociraptors, I see." I comment in a cynical and condescending snark. One of the braver young Anbu clenches his fist, but at the notice of the older Anbu's harsh sight, he backs down with obviously grudging reluctance over his superior's silent order. Unlike most, the older Anbus in the division know more about seals and the true identity and classification of Jinchūriki, them being more experienced in the limited art of Fuīnjutsu. Ah, the benefits of understanding between stone cold killers. The Hokage ignores my remark and greets us with a mere nod. "Kit, Fox." The Sarutobi Head briefly welcomes us, making Kurama smirk as I bore silently into his eyes, patient for him to continue.I hear it takes a lot for old, rotting gums to form words. Can't be rude and rush the ancient fossil, now can I?"I believe you have met or at least heard of Weasel, am I correct?" The Fire-Shadow asked, leaning forward and knitting his hands together, placing his elbows on the desk as his head rested on his fingers. Funny, I thought that was an Uchiha thing. Kurama nodded in place for me as I stand silently. Is he ever going to get to the point? "That we have. He is a good friend of ours. Why do you ask?" The tall ANBU inquired, his voice turning slightly su*ious and stern.Good friend of mine, correction. The Anbu in the room suddenly begin murmuring among themselves, obvious glances toward us were placed. I glared at them harshly, a snarl curling in the back of my throat. They're acting like school kids who heard some filthy, rip-off rumor! They dare act like this in front of even their Kage? "Knock it off! You're Anbu, so act like it." I threatened the youngsters, their traps snapping shut at my icy tone. Slightly annoyed by my outburst, the old man sent me a cold glare that I returned back with equal force, not willing to let him think he had the better of me... even despite the burning flare of pain on my back.Wasting no time, the Hokage *ed in a sharp breath, and closed his eyes as the words came out in a deadly whisper, lingering in the air like a sickness coming to haunt all who entered it's reach. "Weasel, otherwise known as Itachi Uchiha, has from this moment been labeled as a missing nin for the massacre of the Uchiha Clan." The Fire Village Leader Announced, the heavy atmosphere festering with silence and the shock of Fox. Kit remained silent, Killing Intent leaking slowly out of him, like a wolf waiting for even one of his targets to move just so he can rip them apart at a moment's notice. "Itachi... was not a killer." Kit drew out, his normally monotone voice filled with grief and rage. "Kit. Itachi killed them." The Leaf Village's Kage stated, glaring lightly at Kit. "Liar!!!-" Kit began, the air seeming to burn the ninjas' lungs with every breath they took, like he had set the air on fire with his rage. The ANBU grabbed their own throats and chests, their own life source choking them. "ENOUGH." Hiruzen commanded, slamming his hands down onto the desk, silencing Kit and the air turning to it's non-chakra polluted state. Naruto grimaced behind his mask, biting his lip to keep all of the arguments, insults, and rage at bay, the fiery red chakra of rage and hatred still swirling in his veins. "Yes, Hokage, sir." He said."Kit, we will discuss this later, but you and Fox have something more important to do right now." The Monkey Contractor stated, pulling out a file and tossing it to Kurama, which he caught with ease. He opened the file and nodded, reading it's contents..."Fox brothers, your duty is to retrieve any survivors, and ultimately...
