I agree, it should split players first by Power and then by Level..
At level 89, I get players ranging from 45k-55k power, and I easily destroy everyone on auto, taking top spot. Meanwhile my groupmates at level90 are fighting some of the top guys in Spacetime and it's totally unbalanced

Just in general no idea why they would use level for anything, it means nothing in this game. Level 70 p2w can have more power then f2p level 90 who didn't play efficiently. They should just do it only by power.

Consider yourself lucky to be fighting weaker players. My lvl 87 f2p char at 54k got sent to a predominantly lvl 90 field last sage. First opponent... 119k power

Ikr, it really should be determined by power first, then by level honestly.

Yes this needs to be fixed. Power is how it should be divided. In my sage power ranges from 40k-100k. Very unbalanced and not fair to the lower people who are now probably wanting to quit

Actually level does mean something, it means you have access to more if not better talents (in some situations) than others and can gain an advantage because of that.

That means it should take in a consideration of a combination of the two.
Does not mean their current of using one over the other good.

IMO, first they should compile a list of stuff that unlocks that could give a player advantage in a fight that does NOT do so as a contribution of power (so 8 gate, 2nd summon etc doesn't count, as those contribute in the form of power). This is probably mostly just lv 50 for summon(maybe 53 for ez access to more useful one) and various talent tiers.
And they would take the player's power and deduct from it some amount to account for the missing "perks".
And then sort players according to the modified power.

Yeas hate this system im cursing my self for leveling up now it only made things worse would have been better not to.

I think Sage has always been "unfair" to those with lower bp but that's sort of the reward for people who are stronger - to rack up kill streaks and win.

Few points to make here I guess -

1) Higher BP don't want to be bullied into a barrel roast either - currently the top dog in my xserver is 145k bp, putting everyone over 80k bp with him may seem fair but it's the same problem.

2) It's fun to have a well matched sage battle with players being within 10k bp of each other, but people with ninjas and high bp will still prosper.
