Hi,
I'm a new player, I only discovered this game probably 3 or 4 days ago and I was struggling to find a server that suited me. I wanted to know what would be the best servers to start my account on for a F2P english speaking Australian? I dont want to start on a random new server, have no competition/community and be gated by that. I've only briefly been on servers such as S26 Kisame so I havent leveled enough to even ask the people on that server? Any information is greatly appreciated! :)

Also; Sorry if this is in the wrong forum section, me being new and all ^_^

That's a bit difficult to say: HK servers will have an appropriate time zone for events, but may not be completely english, while the LA and NY servers are typically 100% english, but the timing of events are off. As for which level of server to choose, there's a debate there too. Older servers have more activity, but you're farther behind, whereas newer servers are nice to competitive sake, but may not last as long, due to less overall population. It's really a case of choosing what you want to put up with. Good luck! :)

Heh, well like I told you this morning, there should be a decent English speaking community on all the HK servers. Sure you get your occasional conversations going on in tagalog, bahasa, mandarin, and other dialects, but unless you join a specific country based group, you should generally do ok.

Your decision should be whether or not to start on a new server and struggle together with similar leveled opponents and teammates (with high chance of it dying due to the mass churning out of servers weekly), or an older server where you are the whipping boy for all the high levels out there while you slowly level and enjoy the game.

IMO, community is what makes a person continue playing, and since you are planning to be f2p anyway, no matter where you go you wont be challenging much if at all (depending on whale count on that server), so try an older more established server. At worst, you pick up basic skills and knowledge, then you can decide to go complete competitively in a newer server if you feel like it.
