Sounds like you're just trying to fix the mistake by telling someone else that their comprehension skills are lacking...
That indeed IS a mistake...They are practically saying that the plans were meant for may.
Though they do at least make sure to repeat it...RIGHT the 2nd time :D

"We have plans to release the following three events, during the month of may" does not equal "During the month of May, we have plans to release the following three events" especially when followed by "Please, keep in mind that these are our plans for the month of June"
