Some people here suggested you to not care about bp and choose defense because the weak point of mabui is the fact that she suffers a lot from blitz mb teams and that's true. But what they failed to notice is that not only the largest part of the chases those teams run are half nin half tai, but also the 3 damaging standard attacks of a midnight blade are half nin half tai and also lightning armor is half nin half tai. So, against them, defense and resistance play exactly the same role since each one decreases only half of the overall damage. Then if you have to choose one among the two, since both applies there, you select the highest one and for mabui resistance is way higher than defense.
