Omg... my group mate and I faced the same problem too! It just froze at that screen!

However, I was still about to chat with group mates on group chat, and world chat, where they can still respond to me, so I know it wasn't a complete disconnection from my side. Tried typing in Fight chat and it says I'm not in fight. I had to refresh and forfeit the fight after waiting 10 mins and nothing changed.
