He's got shields for days, and that golem thing is rather sturdy and hits like a truck if you get it off. No prompt however, and only one repulse to knock chase, so without said golem his damage is rather limited.

shield can stack (I saw 100k shield before) that's why he's good with earth main

I doubt shields will stack until 100k with the update unless you have crazy resistance - regardless he can be quite useful for ranked battle as a tank, but don't think I see him being used in a lot of lineups.

Hes quite good with azure + torune but overall nothing special.

He is a good ninja for ranked more than 1 on 1

He is usable for beginners, as he can put up support regardless of the lineup you use. He has no long term use or viability however.

Like others are saying, I used him in ranked for a while until I got better replacements, and he's pretty effective when both sides are auto-battling. Other than that, I also sometimes see him in Matsuri with Torune. If you don't have a lot of other ninjas I don't see the harm in leveling him, since you c*ways just stop later when you have better options.

He's ok in tank/support role.
His golem is mainly for tanking and good against those ninjas who sweep front row only, i.e. chojuro, danzo, wb asuma etc, specializes in ranked battle.

if you set your ninjas in second row those ninjas can't get through until his golem breaks.

He is good with fire main who doesnt use clone or itachi because he gives super armour golem and he doesnt attack so he wont break sleep.

even if your up against a MB who uses lightning assasination sword?

That's an exception. I said his golem is good against "sweep" front row only ninjas as mentioned above.
