1# Go To
It's mainly 2 big issues that i have with this function, one of them caused by the cross server.
I presented this problems before in custumer service as bugs since i belive they are in facts bugs, considering they go against the written information we have for the event, but in the case they are not bugs then the text on the feature needs to be changed to reflect it.
You can see the latest 2 reports here and here. But since as soon as a Mod check the topic it is immidiately closed, I decided to do it this time in the General section so we can have a discussion about it.

1. Gap between players, as I see it the gap is for now 10k BP up or down (still think is way to big at this point in the game but oh well). This gap should be in effect for the first 60 seconds of the queue as it says in the picture below.
http://image.prntscr.com/image/8c04f71a80d0492b871d7c393312a2c4.png
From what I and other players have expirienced with this feature the 60 seconds is a lie, it's at most 30 seconds and it doesn't matter if you have or not reached that timer before matching you against someone outside the gap, because if someone else has gone over the timer they will be matched to you even if you didn't reached it, at least that is what Tobei said.

As I see it, if your timer doesn't go above the 60 seconds (30 as it is actually happening), you should never be matched to someone out of the gap, even if that person is in the queue for longer. The text in the feature clearly stats that after the 60 seconds (30 in as it stands) you (the player queueing) will then be matched against someone else in the queue that also has passed the timer, meaning both players should be over 60 seconds in the queue for the match to happen and not only one of them.
So in practice if you never allow the timer to go over that time you should never be matched to people over or under the gap in power, and situations like being matched instantly with people that have double or even half your power shouldn't happen in that period of time, but they are happening way to often and several players have complainned about it.
So either fix the feature to actually work as it is said, or change the text (proper translation) to reflect what actually happens in the game. Either...or, i dont really care wich, just be clear in the message don't give incorrect information in the written text while the actual feature functions in a different way.

2. Duplicated ninjas in the register and in the lineup.
Another issue presented was that I wanted to have pre-selected Gaara and Kazekage Gaara. I know it's impossible to use both in the lineup at the same time, but I actually have 2 completelly different teams for both ninjas. But the Matsuri feature doesn't allow it, and i can't really see why.

I was told by Tobei that both Matsuri and Survival assume ninjas in the pre-selection screen as ninjas in the lineup and so that is the reason why it isn't allowed. And it would be it if i didn't happen to actually use both Gaaras in the Survival so i went to the Survival and provided proof that in fact Survival does allow it, he disregarded it and closed the topic again after seeing it Tobei reported it, so lets see if it gets fixed in a near future (within 1 month) or if it will be disregarded by the company.

So i went back to it and I will provide Bellow you can find an extreme case of what you can do to prove that in Survival it is possible. Colour coded to be easier to spot the ninjas.

This means that even if They do use the same system, but for some reason someone went back to the system code and coded in extra lines of code to not allow this to happen in Matsuri. So my question stants WHY does it happen only in Matsuri and not in Survival. IS it a bug or not. Because them using the same system is not the reason this is happening and thus the response I got does not answer my question.

Leave your thoughts below.

edited: I misread the second answer of Tobei so I fixed the post to reflect that

  • I'll address the second point in which I've replied to you via messages. However, it seems you're still confused.

I was told by Tobei that both Matsuri and Survival assume ninjas in the pre-selection screen as ninjas in the lineup and so that is the reason why it isn't allowed. And it would be it if i didn't happen to actually use both Gaaras in the Survival so i went to the Survival and provided proof that in fact Survival does allow it, he disregarded it and closed the topic again.

As the image suggests. From your own link as well.
It wasn't disregarded. The matsuri/survival selection is the same and it's, in fact, being looked at.
Once again, not disregarded. Unless of course, you don't understand what "I stand corrected" means.
(Psh, It's subtle for You're right)

So one more time, I'll address it.
It could be a potential bug and it's been reported.

If you're still confused about this. Feel free to message me as always.

Oh and one more thing. Matsuri matchmaking has been suggested by the staff members countless times. There's a probability for a better matchmaking system that would extend the timer. However, it's not set in stones and will remain the same for the meanwhile.

    All clear?
    Hopefully.

I'm sorry, I misread the second answer you gave me. For some reason i read only "I stand correct" instead of "I stand corrected", and those 2 letters completelly change the meaning of the sentence.
Thus I corrected my statment in the post, leave here a sincere public apology for the misunderstanding of my part and thank you for reporting it.

As is now stated in the post, I will give it a month to see if something is done and if nothing is done i will PM you to remember so you can ask them again.

Regarding the matching system, it doesn't need to be a new one, just make sure the current one is forced to have both players fulfill the "you are in the queue for over 60/30 seconds" requirement before matching the players, instead of as long one fulfills it the matching will be made.
