That "Ninja tools will automatically be bought when there's not enough" is in the event where you want to transform but lack a Shape Shifting Card.

If you want to "un-transform" yourself back into your Main Character, just click the "Block" *on, or click on another ninja you want to transform to if the original one you changed into wasn't to your fancy.
