Is it just me or has Tendo never been in a single event? If he has been in events then it wouldn't be very often otherwise I would of gotten some of his fragments. Is anyone else puzzled by this? I mean Hashirama has been in plenty events, hell we see the newer super rares more and more and they haven't been out for too long. The only reason to why I think they aren't putting Tendo in events was because Oasis knoew at some point they would have to give us fragments for him in the future. That is honestly the only logical reason I have come up with. If you have seen him in events please let me know, but I am fairly certain I have yet to see him in a single event. I could be wrong though.

That isn't an event I know it drops tendo fragments, but that doesn't explain why tendo hasn't been in any events.

  • With a really low drop rate. That cost alot of coupon
I assume it would be very low. They say you can get the frags in chase missions. I have yet to see him once in chase missions and we have had 2.0 for quite sometime now. Chase mission shouldn't be the main option with the best odds for f2p/casual spender to get him. He isn't such an amazing ninja that putting him in events would break the game. Even before we got the fragments from ultimate training he was nowhere to be seen in events. Only reason that makes sense is as I said above they knew eventually they had to give us fragments for him, so putting him in events many people would have him by now. It just sounds greedy to me.

  • I had tendo in the last chase mission we had, likewise i seen all of them on chase o.o
Getting him 4 times though is the tough part for most players. I see myself pulling him or hashi before I can get 4 fragments for tendo, which shouldn't be the case.

  • Tendo has been in those lucky seal packs that have been in events for a long long time, even before ultimate training
Which are overpriced and a waste. We don't know the odds of getting him. I don't think you understand my post. Almost every ninja in our ninja tab has at one point has fragments in events (excluding some of the newer ones) except Tendo. Haven't you wondered why that is? We have seen all the previous super rares (excluding edo since it's new) fragments in the events what makes Tendo so special?

  • I've replied to you in the events thread. I'll do the same here.

Tendo's never been in a direct event in CN.

I'll honestly be surprised if they do it here. But who knows, Hokage Minato is pretty available on EN compared to elsewhere.

I'll add a few things as well

If EN decides to bring out Tendo in an event catered to him, Don't expect hashirama prices. Considering how "common" a super rare he could be. It would bring a lot of singular happiness and a lot of dismay when it comes to events such as GNW. Either way, it's a good thing.

Now, on the other side, having it only be available via Chase Missions and Seal Packs, is great as well because it considerably keeps his value as a ninja up. And still realistically gives players a chance to get him.
This is a time-based game, you could get Tendo today (figuratively speaking), tomorrow, next month or next year. It really depends on your luck. (I've gotten 1 Tendo fragment from chase missions so far)

I've spoken to a moderator about the availability of Tendo in an event. He let me know that it's definitely not ruled out and the probability is there. I'm inclined to believe it considering we've had Hokage Minato in Treasure of the Sage when compared to other places, this is the best place to get him.

So who knows. Maybe with future updates to the level cap, Tendo would become free via UT.
Only gonna talk briefly about this since if I talk too much about another server the thread will be closed, but correct me if I am wrong didn't CN get all his fragments from UT at the beginning? They also have various ways to get tendo frags like in the treasure system to get tendo, mei ,and a third ninja fragments from seal pulls.

Also we have been told many times we don't follow CN, so that he hasn't been in CN events is an invalid reason. I understand he is somewhat a valuable ninja, but Tendo is a very old super rare and easily countered. He is becoming less and less viable as newer treasures come out especially now since Kage ninja are based mostly on control which counters Tendo. All I am saying is even before we got the fragments he wasn't in events. Oasis decides which ninja will be in the events and I assume they knew they would give use 76 fragments for him in the future. This just seems greedy to me for them to be hindering f2p/casual spenders to lessen the gap between them and p2w.

  • No.

UT was released 1.5 years into the game cycle.

They obtained a lot fewer fragments from the start. With updates, they extended the amount (To 80 total via level 105 update).
Those various ways were added along after the Tendo treasure was obsolete.

He's a very old super rare in CN, not here. We haven't even hit 1 full year yet lol.
I do believe that EN will have him in an event, but definitely nowhere close.

From my point of view, giving away the full 76 Tendo fragments was a huge plus because it allows players who got lucky to get them now and that's pretty sweet.
They're not hindering anybody, it's mostly people asking for a freebie right away. That's how it comes off. Tendo still has a great value in the game and he'll continuously have that value throughout his life cycle (He's still used in GNW in china every week).

As my statement above still stands, CN is extremely stingy when it comes to Hokage ninjas, they're only featured in server opening/merged top-up events or they're legendary rare (1k seals). While here, they're actually cheap and obtainable. So Oasis doesn't follow CN to a tea, but that doesn't mean they have to do everything differently. It's just common sense when it comes to a ninja that'll become free in the future. This post was last edited by Kurusuki at 2017-5-5 08:23
This is spiraling into something else. All I wanted to know was why previously before UT why Tendo was in no events if they claim they don't follow CN. Every time we compare the game to a different region they claim they are independent. which in some cases they are, but here recently with edo treasure it is merged same as CN. Going off topic again. I didn't know about UT tendo fragments and I was wondering before why they hold Tendo to such a high standard then other super rares. The only logical reasoning would be that they planned to give 76 fragments (which I am grateful for) and didn't want majority of players getting Tendo day 1 of UT.

  • They're not entirely independent and everyone knows that.
However, they've released functions and ninjas completely different than their counterpart.
So they c*ter the timeline and priceable of certain ninjas. But everything else is still the same.

If they gave out 80 fragments in UT, players who actually pulled on Tendo for him would flip and for a VERY good reason. It's a progress when it came to those Tendo fragments and it's a healthy one for the game as well.

This isn't towards you, but this community has been drawing straws and wanting everything handed to them since day 1. From the content that's been released, this version has been a special thing and I'm grateful for that. But they'll never be able to please people on the forums because people want this version to be the special snowflake and honestly it's sick. We still have to go through the motion and progress that makes this game what it is.
I understand giving 80 frags for tendo in UT would cause many people to get angry, but that isn't what I said/wanted. I am just curious to why Oasis hold Tendo above all other super rares and excludes him from previous events. Everyone is going to get 80+ tendo fragments for free eventually, but that isn't why I made this thread. Just wondering why he wasn't in events before UT. I do understand what you are saying and giving Tendo away for free would anger many players. I just don't think Oasis should claim they are independent and don't follow other regions when that is clearly false.

  • Tendo costs about $1000 to pull using seal scrolls.Ultimate gave more than enough frags and there were events to obtained tendo frags. Giving more tendo frags will anger the people who spent money on scrolls and frags, decrease their accounts' value not to mention would be a pain to fight people with tendo. Oasis doesn't owe people who doesn't pay to give super rare ninja for free. What's next ,susano sasuke for free?Entitlement some people have ...... :curse:
Again, not talking about now. Talking about before UT we never seen Tendo in events ever, not even once. Wondering why that is.

  • because before 2.0 and early 2.0 tendo is beast for anything , either gnw matsuri or sage ,

he was such a beast who can nuke opponent round 1 or 2 , thats why they never give him on event .

even for now tendo is still good on gnw and matsuri
I would say Susanoo Sasuke is the same way and better then Tendo and he is in events. Yes he may not be able to attack the entire enemies field, but he has a prompt and if he could attack the entire field he would be even more op.

  • Do you really want tendo to be the new tobi I thought about this and I'd rather they didn't have him in events and just kept it to chase missions
Again I understand having him now is a bad idea I am saying before UT even before 2.0. Why wasn't Tendo in events? Has no one actually wondered about this? This post was last edited by Koncept at 2017-5-6 01:18

  • Because they wanted people to spend on scrolls to push for super Rares why would people buy 400-800 scrolls if they could get it for free heaven forbid in events
Hashirama is in events though... Same for Ay and Susanoo Sasuke they are already in events and can be slowly obtained. There is no excuse that Tendo wasn't in events 2+ months after tendo treasure/start of the game. You're contridicting youself, that's like saying never put super rares in events people will get them for "free". Ay and Susanoo are in events aand guess what people are still pulling for them. Every ninja should be obtainable through free means. I am not saying give us Tendo now, but it would of been nice to atleast ac*ulate some of his fragments like I have been able to for other super rare ninjas so I can one day recruit them. • Hashirama isnt tendo tho before kage tendo was the only ninja capable of hitting entire field so they wanted players to go through treasure for him is my guess.
That is a good point. In my opinion though Hashirama is much more viable then Tendo. Maybe someday we will get to see him in events though because eventually most people will have him and let's hope they give us the chance to 4 star him.

  • How is 1125 cupon overpriced for ten seal scroll (10x125=1250)?And when u say we have means to get super rare ninjas, I hope you really dont mean that 1-3 frag what f2p or p2w players roll sometimes on wheel or something? That no means to get them, there is no way you gonna roll him 80 times, even less chance than getting tendo 4 times in a row on chase mission days.
Hashirama more viable than Tendo? Maybe in 1v1 for sure, but he only boost konoha ninjas with barrier, liek this limiting your choices. meta changes, new ninjas are coming, sure a lot of them from Konoha but not all. U can buff up Tendo in a toons of ways and you only need to pew pew everyone down.

Because that is roughly $20 not spent on power. Most people don't buy seal scrolls and most people buying that pack are solely aiming for Tendo fragments, which the drop rate could be really low. It is overpriced because if you really want to buy seals you buy them in discounted events. 1125 for 10 scrolls is normal price and you have a small chance at getting Tendo, but you will 95% of the time get the lower tier fragments. It simply isn't worth it almost every way you look at it. Edit:
Hashirama is way better then Tendo even in RB. He buffs Konaha, Controls enemy team (has a chance to control tendo), and his chase has an interrupt. He is a more viable ninja 1v1 or 3v3 teams. Tendo is only good for RB and GNW where he is very easily countered. You could say Hashi is also easily countered which is true. Hashirama is just more viable at the moment since he can be in 1v1 pvp. Tendo is far from being a bad ninja. I just think Hashirama is more vercitile. Tendo is only viable in Pain teams while they are still good there are far more Konhah ninja then Pain. So even if Hashirama doesn't get his mystery off you still have his buff which alone is great. And if Hashirama gets his mystery off 2 buffs.
