First things first. Regardless of what ninjas you end up using you should atleast level them to your current maximum level.
If you can both cultivate and awaken all of your ninjas in ranked battle too, it would be great.

What do you want in ranked battle teams ?
1. 1-2 interrupts
2. Massive Area damage
3. Debuffs on enemy team
4. Some sustain
5. Decent chases

Here is one set up you could try
One team could have #1 Neji #2 Guy #3 Kakashi #4 Kabuto with either kakashi or guy solo laning behind kakashi's clone
Mains team could have #1 Hinata #2 BD #3/4 Kurenai #4/3 Tobi with Tobi solo laning
Last team could be #1 Kimimaro #2/3 Asuma #4/3 Karin #2-4 Gaara with Gaara positioned as offlane tank and casting order depending on whats most beneficial vs your current opponent, (most likely third)

Situational ninjas to consider.
Kakuzu and Tenten would be great for massive Area damage.
Hidan would win you matches if you have close fights with opponents. Him resurrecting every 2 rounds to take 1-2 ninjas with him to early grave really hurts, but he doesn't really work if you are challenger.
GNW Kankuro and Chiyo can be used to get past enemy tanks with certain chase. Just remember to place them on the lane you want to start chase on.

If it looks like your team isn't working as intended watch the fight carefully and check what mysteries have priority over ones you want to have triggered first and make team accordingly.
