Like the title says does strong assault hard drop common thread? I still need common threads to rank up my battle armor. If it doesnt drop common threads does that mean I should do normal instead?

no it drops medium thread. I think normal drops medium thread too, so you might need to do easy for common thread.

It would be more cost effective for you in the long run to do hard; and get your common threads from monthly points.

Good point. As theres a battle armor rebate going on right now. Is it worth spending coupons on threads? Im f2p if that matters.

No, it is absolutely not worth spending coupons on threads. As a f2p player, you are better off just saving up and do it on the next battle armor rebate a month from now.
