FISHING 101
OK we are all aware about this guy in the Konoha Forest, we often pass him by when doing wanted or convoy, well guess what he is our Fishing Buddy, Hooray!!!. What he actually does is help us how to find fish and exchange the fish for redeemable points.

OK! lets start!
There are 3 (Three) fishing locations namely Konoha Forest, Land of waves and Mount Myoboku.
Click him and you can see 2 options "Go Fish" and "Later" but before you can "Go fish" you will need a bait

BAIT
Now where to get a bait? By sweeping "Elite or Plot instance" or click Hot topics then go to Fishiing Mania then click the gift pack on the right as shown

you will get 3 kinds of bait "Weak, Standard and Flawless". Each bait represents different fishing spots, Click "Go fishing" then it will lead you directly to the fishing spot.

Now click him then click "Go fish"
wait for a couple of seconds and then... CONGRATULATIONS!!! you got a crap! I mean Carp

Go to hot topics Exchange the fish then you will obtain some points, then exchange the points for some AWESOME and so much wow ninja frags! or some Coins if you need it :D

Fish points are a bit small so here you go
Herring = 1 pts
Carp = 3 pts
Catfish = 5 pts
Tropical fish = 15 pts

  • Do you know how many points you can get per fish? Also, the success rate is not 100% because i saw a Weak Bait? Kinda like pokemon lol
as of now they are still updating but I think its a 10+ points for a rare fish

    btw there's also daily bait pack given if u click the box like icon on upper right side of the event section..then click the box on inventory to get 1x weak,1x standard,1x flawless..
I will add that too, hope the maintenance finish soon, so we can complete this guide :D

  • if hidan is still the same as previous bug fishing event, he will be 1288 points for 4 fragments, end up will be 30k to 40k coupons
too expensive, on lucky board he only cost less than 14k

so I took the liberty of calculating on how many ingots/coupons needed to buy Hidan, If you buy a bag of fresh fish you'll get an average of 15.5points/10 cps, now you need 17,600 point to get him so approx 12k ingots/cpns not bad I think if my math is correct :D

  • I think your calculation might be off.
    I did more than 50 bags, but I only started doing the count for the last 50 I did.

    Each Bag cost 10 coupons, 10 bags will cost 100 coupons.

    1st 10 Bags: 152 points
    2nd 10 Bags: 102 points
    3rd 10 Bags: 111 points
    4th 10 Bags: 78 points
    5th 10 Bags: 95 points
    Total of these 50 Bags: 538 points which gives you about 108 points per 100 coupons.

    Cursed Hidan requires 220 points, so that comes out to about 237 coupons per fragment of his.

    Previous event:
    Lucky Board Cursed Hidan was approximately 200 coupons per fragment.
    Limited Ninja Refinement Cursed Hidan was approximately 157 coupons per fragment.
    There was 1 other event where Cursed Hidan was approximately 300 coupons per fragment.

    This is my findings, people can make their own decisions.
    However, if going for the Advanced Refines and Medium Refines, I think this is an amazing event.

maybe some instances has less baits or nothing at all, I did some test on instancess, 100 stamina at elite I got nothing but 100 stamina at plot instance I got 10pcs bait

  • Oh! Another thing! I think there might be a "hidden", "unspoken" or "unwritten" thing (or however you want to call it), but it seems like there's a daily Cap on baits as well.

    20 baits or something like that. Cause I've encounter getting no more baits after like 630+ stamina, group mate faced that too. If you head over to the March 18th May event thread, a few others have stated they stop receiving baits after a certain amount too.
I believe so, well you know Oasis they love giving us surprises.

SURPRISE! no more bait for you today! We don't want to give you the cap or how many max bait you can get each day, you just have to guess, deal with it :D

  • I only did 3 elites, and the rest plots. Let me try without some extra elites then!
yesterday I did plot with 530 stamina got 20 baits but in elite instance for 530 stamina I got 15 baits.
