Chojuro is a great fighter, and is good for a mid-level team until you get better ones like Tenten, Mabui, Darui.
(Un)Fortunately you already have those 3. :)
PS. Why is Ao good? I almost never use him, but I use Chojuro all the time.

- because Ao places 2 water attribute clones on the field, so boosts chojuro atk/ninjutsu by 18% alone (as far as the two clones are alive), shields chojuro and also gives to your team a good acupuncture mystery that can't be interrupted (and also lands a lot of damage).
