Group Rank system is like the level rank of your Group in-game which members should donate coins or ingots to reach the next level. The higher the level rank of a group, the better the benefit events they can have.

I'm curious about the group ranks as well. I'd like to know exactly what sort of benefits my members are getting when promoted, and how many of each rank are available.

Only the group leader can assign those ranks and it has no special effects.

Leader: Is the founder of the group, can assign or remove ranks.
Senior: The group admin, can accept and refuse people, Max. 2 Seniors
Anbu: Very ACtive and Donating PLayer, Max. 5 Anbu
Elite: Players that participate a lot and do some donating
Member: Regular members of the group.

Could someone give me the correct numbers for Elite and ANBU players I can have.

I run a lvl 6 group(nearly lvl 7) and I have:

6 ANBU and 13 Elite ranked players atm.

As for their powers:
Elite: No special power

Anbu: Can accept people into group

Senior: Anbu power + can promote/demote to members/elite/anbu + can kick players from group + can change group bulletin + can send group messages + can upgrade group + can register for GNW + can move people (except leader) during GNW
