i use both the teams (both mei, mabui, tenten and chojuro, mei, ao) and what i can tell you is that yes, your lineup can beat mei mabui tenten one but you'll suffer a lot more against lsome ineups that with the other one you could beat easy (for example the largest part of the BD teams that you literally own with mei mabui tenten and that, instead, are very hard to beat with chojuro/ao/mei since chojuro basically do nothing most of the times on round1 against them and if you fail to acupuncture sage naruto/BD/gaara, depending on the enemy choices, it's usually over).
