Hi everyone, I just started my wind main few days ago and now i'm lvl 41 but i'm still struggling with my line up at the moment. My wind main seems to be quite squishy because it has low defense and resistence and I have full magatama lvl 2 so I need some advice to build a defensive build. Below are my ninjas list and talent skills:

  • Wind is so easily countered by fire and earth.
Yes, fire and lightning are so dominant atm, my main can get killed in 2 rounds :(

  • I had some issues around that level on my Breeze as well. As far as an effective tank style build there are a few options.
    First
I would highly suggest scrapping at least one puppeteer, if not both, and putting in that 3* Hinata. She is a pain in the * to deal with for most people at that level, and even up into the early 60's, because she has high base stats, good initiative and acupuncture. While Chiyo and Kankuro aren't bad, I find them far more useful level 45 and up, once you get 8v8 and 12v12 ranked battles. Then Chiyo can be put into a very safe team and get multiple revives off, same goes for Kankuro and his AoE special.
    Second
I think your next best option is to also swap out Karin for Kabuto. His bodies are pretty easy and cheap to spam, at 20 chakra every other turn its pretty easy to keep some out. He also heals 2 targets and gets rid of debuffs. All around he will give more survivability than Karin, as her main strength is more poisoning.
    Third
The third character you may want to look at right now is Naruto. Since hes 2* he comes with the bonus 3 clones already on the field which, in turn, means 3 meat shields to soak up an attack or two from enemies. He also has the Rasengan that is, both, cheap and effective. It does damage to the first target and a line behind them but also gives Hinata the acupuncture chase. You can weaken some pretty important units this way.
    Conclusion
The thing is at that level, you wont have to worry a ton about getting a full team of male/female/wind to go with your first passive talent. In my opinion Flower Guard is the safest bet to keeping alive because it'll give your main some more effective hp and, if you use her, make Hinata last even longer overall. I ran a similar combo of Hinata, Naruto, Breeze, Kabuto for a while and used the Giant Rasengan talent on my Breeze. This way I could alternate acupuncture on my opponents and still do damage while choosing my targets. Hinata would be able to tank for a long time because the clones/bodies would take focus off of her when her rotation was down and Kabuto would heal anyone who did get hurt. Things open up quite a bit more when you unlock your Dance at 45 because those resets can be deadly. Until then though, I would consider this team, or at least some of the units, if I were you.

  • Let me know if it works out or not and I'll try to come up with something else if you need! :D
it seems your line up doesn't work on me because once the enemies focus or disable my main, i have no offensive ninjas on the field. Also the clones can be wiped out easily with aoe dmg
