the game does not expect you to win. It's meant like that. It places you where you should belong. If you invested a lot of time in the game you would be most likely above the other's who are new. If you invested both time and money, then you'd be at the top. And if you know that you've always been behind initiation most of the time, then find a lineup that does not rely on it. The most popular was the fire seal tobi pre 2.0 it has beaten a lot of spenders who wanted to use their $$$ ninja, and guess what, the p2w weren't happy so they nerfed tobi. It's simply like that. The game caters to those who spend, because they bring in the cash. They don't even cater too casual spenders. Many players are willing to spend like 50-60$ in the game but they feel it's not worth their cash so they remained f2p.
