So true, some people can't see a strong ninja that they assume we are spenders.

To all f2p out there if you want to have good stuff, save up and invest in the right places, i saved up seals for 2 months before kage treasure came out, gave me 70 scrolls, used them and got Mei on day 1 of the treasure, didn't spent a single cuppon for it, I was level 90 when i got my Sage Naruto but i have him.

Just be patient and put stuff together

Sure, there is some degree of randomness, but it's not much more than controlled PvP. Mystery targeting in there is actually pretty deterministic and you can predict whom they will be cast upon (if not on first fight, then certainly on the second. It's a bit confusing how it resolve "ties") and you can influence it to and extend by arranging normal attack targets etc.
Sub optimal? Sure, but that's true for both sides. Random? No, not really, at least not any more than normal fights (I mean when normal attack special procs, when it crits, who gets hit by a random mystery/chase etc, those were random and still are random, but it's not any MORE random than normal)

if at least we could select the target for the mysteries it would solve so many problems.

what really grinds my gears on space-time is when the opponent has an Hashirama behind a clone and another ninja, if you can't get to him before he starts the immobiles you are done for, at least not many people have him.

Give me a Tendo to fight on auto any day over Hashirama.

well depends on the main he uses, as a water main i have Mei on the main team, but Sage Naruto is on the second team and in a Ranked battle team and that is it

I love cross server Matsuri, I would never get a fight in my level range if it weren't and then I'd just get killed by the level 90 people of my server, but this way I get to fight alot of players in the level 60 range and it's a pretty good time.

you are lucky, i have 50k power and my opponents are usually 60k+ even today i had one with 90k+ after a 20 seconds queue.

most of the times i end up just retreating since the difference in power is to big for me to win. i could put up a fight and drag it to the 8-10 rounds but would loose in the end anyway so why waste both our times.
