Considering I've been name dropped, I believe it's my duty to address this thread with some enlightenment on this situation.
Stating "F2P" on our signatures has absolutely nothing to do with our spending or "way to play the game"
It's merely an inside joke with no bearing on others.
It's within your right and decision to declare yourself however you see fit, I have no ill towards players who proudly declare that they're F2P and this has no bearing on them. Same towards P2P, players have the right to express their livelihood however they see fit.
Now to explain the joke! (Joker laughter)
A couple of colleagues and friends (and members) flips the script on what they declare themselves.
Of course, Achroma and I aren't true F2P (Don't tell him that though!)
These acronyms mean absolutely nothing towards us. We're players and we enjoy the game while having fun doing so, as I stated above, It's your right to declare yourself however you see fit. However in my personal view, stating that you're a "true F2P" or a "wallet warrior" does not make you better than the next player vice versa.
We're all here to have fun and that's the goal towards moving in the future.
Well, yes it does, because is a P2W game.. lol -

But seriously, I've thought long and hard about f2p and p2w and how it can be fair for both. In short, it can't. F2P will never catch up to p2w or maybe even p2p. And as much as I'd like to say, look they got to make their money somehow, I can't fully say that because if you completely favor p2w, the f2p will start to fade away and stop playing. And this will leave p2w's alone and cause servers to die (*cough*). The events do need to be better. We need to get rid of BBQ, 10K/ 20K/ 30K coins, and maybe even dango. Ninjas should become available to f2p over time (which oasis has been doing pretty good with). And shops. Good god I can't wait for something other than the group shop to be updated. Most importantly to me Bring mood scrolls back to group lucky wheel.
Things are improving and some of the power imbalance is not due to oasis but the server itself. I have heard many people say that there is one power house group on their server that always wins (my server included). If the group always wins, they get more contributions, coins, and coupons, which allows them to level up their group at a faster pace. So my suggestion is talk it out. I know A LOT of the top groups do not want to put their #1 position on the line so it's probably going to be near impossible to fix that. And I know how 3 p2w can take down a mostly f2p with some p2p in it.
Some of these problems can only be fixed by cooperation with other groups on your server. Sorry for the rambling.
About the thing of only having 1 group in each server and some other dead group just for GNW packs is relatively easy to fix, mergers. We need WAY more mergers, is that simple, but of course, if they merge more and open less servers, they lose money, that's what this is all about.
