the main problem with the maintnence is that it is started at the wrong time, why not schedule all the maintnence for the 1AM-7AM server time slot?
And do them in this order: Asia, UK, NY, LA

that should solve most of the delay problems.

also it does not make sense that the first 6 servers of each region are open and the others closed

so they update the first 6 servers of each region and decide to take a nap for 4 hours?
asia servers openned at 10pm, what the hell.
uk servers are still down and is almost 4 pm.
