I grind the first week of Arena reset and easily reach 65 and if I see others in my server closing in a grind some more. And i run into people now as a six path a lot quicker then when kage or super kage.

U have 6path for 1st time?

Actually, this has nothing to do with his team, initiative or refines.

This player has come back online after a hiatus from the game, will of had 6 Paths prior to the implementation of 2.0 & Ranked Arena. All you're seeing is the default points you have after entering the Arena from the 1st time of joining after 2.0

Do you know for fact that he came back from Hiatus or is that a guess?

No I have it every month.

Because we've had people come back into the game after leaving before 2.0 was implemented, they went into arena & were at 71pts.

Also, cast you mind back to when 2.0 came in & the arena wasn't reset, everyone who was 6 paths prior to the implementation of the update had 71pts when they entered Ranked Arena.

Not sure what your having trouble with. I sometimes might have to wait several minutes or more, but I usually find someone within a min.
