Hey

Did he recently try to change his password?
It can occur, however simply logging in through the client or browser directly should fix it.
Normally, I'll recommend changing the password through the User Center, it's faster.

    this happened to my friend today too. However, she has tried logging in from several different browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Puffin) as well as logging in from the mini client. None of it has worked and she also gets the "This User Does Not Exist" error. She's also tried logging into the user center, but it hasn't worked either. We would love your assistance!

It's a pesky bug. However, after half-hour/hour, it generally allows the user to log-in.

Is it still persisting?
