Fire main: Mostly used as a control type ninja, keeping the enemy from attacking at their full potential. Can play a supportive role when coupled with powerful ninjas (high damaging ninjas), but c*so take up the role of the core of the team. (Dragon Flame mystery)

Water main: Mostly used as the healer of the team, being one of the best healers available in the game. Can be used to control the enemy with neurotoxin when coupled with Water Shark mystery, or more commonly Poison Tai when used with aoe taijutsu damage ninjas. (while using the healing mystery) Can be really hard to kill with all the heals, while the enemy suffers over time with all the stacked up poison damage.


Lightning main: Mostly used as the core damage of the team, with most teams revolving around this main to deal damage and win. Able to paralyse the enemy with his aoe mystery, stopping the enemy from doing damage with their high combos. Able to do large amount of damage in a turn when used with Lightning Armour, playing a blitzkrieg tactic. Also can be used to support your team by being a chakra machine, or to seal the enemy. Suitable for a fast game, but loses out if not enough damage was done in the early round and the battle prolongs.


Wind main: Can play a supportive role by allowing your team to continuously deal damage with mysteries. (dance of impetus resets mystery cool down) The clone spamming ability can be used to protect your team as a shield, despite being relatively weak. Female and wind ninjas coupled with her can become very powerful, dealing tons of damage to the enemy. She c*so play the core damage of the team with Giant Rasengan, which can be used for 2 rounds straight before receiving a large cool down, which can come to haunt you later on if non-lethal damage was done. Quite similar to lightning mains if used this way.


Earth main: Mostly used as a tank in the game, with his shield generating abilities. The shield might seem lacklustre at first, but when coupled with a good healer and his passive which increases his defences, he can become the immovable object in the game. However, he c*so take a completely different direction, boosting damage as well as increasing the number of standard attacks in a turn for the whole team. His passive which immobilises when coupled with shields can make him an annoying enemy.
