1＃ Go ToSo yeah can someone tell me why kisame mystery doesn't do * if the opponent player has already casted his mysterys, from what I have observed even if you put kisame in slot 1 and do his mystery before everyone else as long as the enemy ninjas are mid-casting (i.e they have the blue glow around them), his mystery just turn into water trumphet chase which hits 4 targets lol. I understand that kisame can only absorb the chakra that the enemy team hasn't used but where is the logic in that! if they haven't actually performed their mysterys then the chakra shouldn't count as used chakra, that's not how chakra works, in the anime when naruto is about to use nine tails chakra to summon gamabunta kisame quickly absorbs all his chakra. due to many other * mechanics like this alot of good ninjas are considered useless like for example why is itachis amaterasu a chase and why the hell can it's ignition be removed by a scruby healing jutsu. It would have been better if itachis mystery was amaterasu with a 3 turn cool down and 1 turn battle field cool down but the ignition could not be removed for 2 or 3 turns, similarly it would have been better if itachis koto-amatsukami caused immobile (technically that jutsu does paralyze the target) and moderate damage etc etc, honestly this makes me think they made these ninjas *y on purpose so players will buy power-creep ninjas. I hear the skill books update upgrade all akatsuki members but I honestly don't think I can stay that long.

Just use Kisame with someone like Mei or Ao, for the interrupt followup.
He is actually pretty decent, if you use him properly ;p
PS: Kotoamatsukami in anime just gives control over the opponent, Chaos matches it perfectly. You control the opponent, and make him attack his own team

I use Kisame Religously, Hes very underrated an needs to be used right.. Hes best also with high initiative.. I put him up front and Mood his HP and get benefits from the HP boost from tactics. He basically makes it so that you have the advantage of having the opponent react fast or get punished.. if you cast his mystery, it should be combined with someone who can acupuncture like Ao or Mei.. and if they wait to cast their mystery after you, then they cant cast at all... the first few rounds you have the advantage of forcing them to use up the unused chakra, but after that, its basically a fuel to his already devastating Standard Attack, he gets 3% attack for every chakra over 40.. that's + 180% attack. He heals himself constant through chakra gain. To me he's one of the best ninjas out there right now. -

I was thinking about a team like that. My current lineup is Mifune (to remove Root of warrior), Kimimaro (for tankyness), Mei , WM(healing and poison tai), since I didn't get Ao. So changing Kimi for Kisame would be a good idea? -

In that line up I would remove the root from The person in front of Kisame.. if your imitative is slow and use Kisame round 3.. removing the Root gives kisame the chance to acupuncture him with his standard attack/combo. Most root teams dont have a heal so They would be out of commission for 3 rounds. -

I love kisame too, even though some people keep ragging me for it lol.
His drawbacks are:
1) lowish def, so susceptible to R1 nuking if opponent is aligned directly (worst case lightning blitz team) since team heals arent up and running yet (for water main teams)
2) Control if water main and dont have RoW
Dont underestimate how annoying the 20 chakra absorption is against teams that are reliant on counterplay/interrupt or specific chakra per round count like tenten/mabui/mei. Leading R2 with kisame is great as well, it forces your opponent to prequeue his mystery leaving him open to being disrupted. -

Kisame is disappointing because he seems to have utter garbage Nin/Tai growth, so it makes him ineffective as a character.
The Kisame in the Akatsuki Team Instance hits like a god* freight train with his mystery compared to most NPC characters, regardless of level and power.
So basically Kisame would be alot more useful with a stat distribution that actually made sense, at least that's how it would seem. -

he was actually pretty fun.. I like trying to use underdog ninjas nobody cares about... I'm sure one of these days I'm gonna try to fit Cee into a meta lol.. but anyways.. Hes 5 star since I've gotten him twice in Arena Rewards for senin. -

Kisame is not bad, really, i have a lineup for him with lightning main. It goes like this:
Jigokudo LM Kisame
x Chojuro x
x x x
3-2-3-2-3 and Serpent
It works really nice in PvE, and works for me in Matsuri sometimes. Oh, i went +life and -def on him.
*If that doesnt work, you can move them all 1 field down, to get Chojuro down and others in the middle.

that would rarely work because thew opponent already chooses to disable the ninja who will break your team and just focus on that, in most teams its healers or ninjas with paralysis and lots oh chases like sasuke etc. -

I don't have chojuro but this team can be good, but it shouldn't depend on kisames mystery -

Try it our it Arena, So far for me its been 90% win ratio, Server 2 is very competitive in PVP. -
