Like what the guy above me said, only applies to 3 sword bearing ninjas, while you have your Main, Darui, Mifune and WB Asuma.

I'm sure sometimes Darui's reset works, sometimes it don't. That's also because since you have 4 sword bearing ninjas, which 3 gets the buff is chosen at random.

I can't be for certain if Main is ALWAYS included if there is 4 sword bearing ninjas, as I've always used at most 3. But if there is 3, it definitely includes.

As for reset. If the AOE kills a clone, as long as that ninja whose mystery does so is receiving the buff, I'm very certain it resets. As I often use this to my advantage to get back to back mystery rounds from my Main. Especially opponents with Ao clones which are extremely squishy.
You might want to test it again using only 3 sword bearing ninjas to ensure that the 3 gets the buff.
