Refine your P1 character as high as possible (7,8 all of them and maybe a 9 if you have the resources). Then purify starting with your highest refined equipment until you have purple or golden on init (the rest of the stats you can get later using purification protection runes) - for this wait for a refinment event, should help alot if you have plenty resources

The rest of the characters should be at least level5 refines.

It's very hard to get a 9 I admit, but it can be done if you save your coupons - this is just to give a goal to focus on.
Imo initiative is the most important stat in the game. I invested all my resources on init and especially on my main character and I don't regret it.
