• if he is with lightning main and that lightning main is using the Pink Sword passive(idk what its called), so if Mifune's mystery kills an enemy(even if its a clone) that Pink Sword passive can reset his mystery since Mifune killed an enemy

• Its because if he's with a Lightning Main, the Lightning Main has a Passive called "Killing Intent" where Ninjas in his team will have a Mystery Reset if that mystery kills an opponent (this includes Ninjas, Summons, Clones, etc).
  
  On top of that, Mifune buffs Sword bearing, and Lightning Main also buff Sword bearing, all that buff and ROW makes Mifune's mystery pretty deadly since he's immune 1st 2 rounds due to ROW, and he's probably in Position 1 to hit you again on the 3rd with another mystery. So you can't pre-emptively Acupuncture him in Round 1, he cast his Mystery in Round 2, which you can't interrupt as well, and you can't Acupuncture him either, he probably kills off 1 clone, so his mystery resets and he can Mystery you again on Round 3, by then you're so weak, he will probably kill off something again, Mystery you on Round 4, you're pretty much dead I'm guessing.
  
  And that's why you're here thinking its a bug.
