Unfortunately, even with limitations per day (as an example), trading direct tools/items can be and will be abused.
We're working on ideas to implement something that can take unnecessary items (Ninja Scrolls/Lower Refinements, etc) or possibly a new shop that trades those items for currency to use in that Shop.

Currently, everything is still in the talks, but believe me it's not something we forgot about.
