lvl 4 magatama stones are 108 min and $10 gives the equivalent of 150 coupons, if i remember right each piece of gear has 6 slots and 6 pieces of gear per ninjas times 4 ninjas.
so 108*5*2*4 = 4320
135*5*3*4 = 8100
4320 + 8100 = 12420 coupons for full lvl 4
12420/150 = ~83 times you need to buy the $10 pack
83*$10 = $830 just to get full magatama lvl 4
the price will increase *3 per lvl after that, so full lvl 5s cost $2480, full lvl 6s cost $7450
sure money can make you win but thats alot of money to spend to gain not so much power considering a week of playing should give you full lvl 2s and some lvl threes for free.
lvl 2 attack mag = 30 attack, lvl 3 attack mag = 46 attack, lvl 4 attack mag = 71 attack
Plus the ninjas outside of naruto and gara are pure luck based so you could spend $1000 and not get anything good while the free person gets sage naruto as soon as he hits 70 without spending a dime.
the medals are the only thing you cant buy with coupons and while the perks are nice they arent game breaking.
humor c*so get expensive fast and not everyone will want it early on as it costs one stat to raise another.
refinement seals are nice but again get expensive fast.
pay to win means that real money gives an insurmountable advantage but while it can help it doesn't make you auto win in this game as everything but medals is open to everyone.
Okay lets go through your list here.
1. "thats alot of money to spend to gain not so much power" That's not really a valid point for the simple reason, Whales.
These type of Games tend to have Whales in it, people who have no problem spending a few Hundreds of Dollars per month if they know that through that they get some sort advantage.
2. I agree that RNG is a lil tricky Minx, but that could also be the other way around. Someone spends 100$ and gets 2 or 3 great Characters instantaneously. There are 2 sides to the Coin, but what's certain is that the money spender can roll the Dice a few times more often than the Free Player and sometimes that's enough.
3. Yes sure the Medals are not exactly "Game breaking", but overall they can push you good and keep you in the Lead if you use it right. You get more resets for specific things which means you can do them more often, your Main gets a 100% exp buff, in Worldboss all of your attributes get a 15% boost, you get more silver from the survival one, you get daily Coupons that you can reuse for other stuff, your Energy limit is increased so you can do more and you get some lil HP and ATK boost.
I'm not gonna debate with you now about the term P2W and that it's only the case if there is an "insurmountable advantage", there is more to it than just that. Even if there are a few small things that don't look like P2W, adding them together and used right can draw a different pictures in most cases.
Don't get me wrong here, i'm not saying this Game is P2W in a "you can't do * if you don't pay" -way, for that i would have to play this Version and see what we get and how much of an effect it has ingame.
I was just curious why its not P2W, nothing more ^^.
