if they gave it to everyone then the people who received the issue would be mad that they gave it to people who didn't have the issue. the thing people were upset about was that they would be behind on TI and SA rewards for a week compared to those that didn't have an issue so giving it to everyone would have done nothing to help those people.

if you ever come across a bug you need to take a screenshot as some proof, if you don't then you have no right to ask for rewards. i told a friend they should post on the forums but they said "nah, they will just give it out to everyone anyways" so since they didn't take screenshots they don't get anything.

if you use something simple like "snipping tool" which should be standard on any windows after vista, then you can take a screenshot in a few seconds and just save it in case you need it. at most it will only take up a few MB of space on your computer.
