I waited to try the events today before writing my feedback.
BOND - Something new and interesting. Seems fun.
Gift's pack - Ingots only is bad. Those who spend have already gotten all they need. Those who can benefit from it wont buy it. 4/10
Great plates - Its new but its bad. 2 things make it bad. Firstly, 3 days only? All players see is "Oasis are as greedy as ever"/"They don't care about Free players". Second, BBQ drop rates are really off the charts. Really BBQ has no place in the game for 95% of players. I get it, some drops must be bad. But BBQ feels like getting nothing. This is true for all events. Just give some awakening material or something. Please remove from roster or change 4/10
Time limited - Old event which isn't bad. But this time i really don't like it. Why? 3 days only. Why change it?? All i see is "Oasis is as greedy as ever". Its not out yet but something tells me medium threads can be redeemed and you conveniently placed it after BA rebate ends. Please don't blame players for assuming the worst. Because Oasis has done so many such things in the past. I can't fully review this but overall its bad because you cut down the number of days. 4/10
Daily spending rebate - I'm not a spender.
BA rebate - Always good. Keep rotating it in. 9/10
Ninja puzzle - Still good. I've suggested a couple of times to make it more interactive. Just make us transform to the character in the puzzle. Or maybe give a temporary title to people who solve the puzzle fastest with a leaderboard for puzzle solve times. 8/10
Limited recruitment - Always good. Keep in rotation. 9/10
Purchase limit shop - Apart from threads everything else is irrelevant to 95% of your players. Its not even that good deals. Its so 'meh' that most players don't even know there are such offers. Whats even more sad is that they aren't missing out on anything. 4/10
Monthly sign in reward - Hmmm, mixed feelings. Hebihime is alright i guess. But don't expect players to be thanking you. Honestly, no one is complaining that much. But no one is excited in any way either. 5/10
Konan in shop - Thank you for listening to your community. But to be honest, at this point its damage control. People have been frustrated for 3 or more months. An earlier response from the team or updates about it being in discussion would have been good before. Taking so long to even mention about this makes players feel you are intentionally ignoring us. (we still think so).
OVERALL COMMENTS
Thank you for posting events early this time. Please make sure this happens every week. Its not so much of a privilege but more of a decency on behalf of the Oasis team to the players. It really can't be that the team doesn't know what's being implemented in the update 24 hours before. Even if you can't send information, a notice saying there is a delay in getting the information helps players know you care about them.
This week's events are pretty bad overall. One week we feel like you are listening, the next we feel you make a greedy move. The 3 day events are just awful. I'd rather you remove one and make the other a full week event.
Final suggestion:
I know its more work but maybe after every week, please summarise all our feedback and give a statement saying what you've heard us comment about and what will be brought up for discussion. For instance, things like Konan in the shop, Mood scrolls back in wheel, Fishing event is horrible etc. At least the community knows that you acknowledge the problems and have heard us. But when there is no words or just a generic reply, we feel there is no effort and we assume the worst. If Oasis really cares and want to communicate with its community, this would be a good start.
