Okay, so even before the fiasco happened with Aristeus I have had this enormous question about something.

Why is it that there is never anything happening during the week on this game? You people can't do a mid-week server merge or whatever?
It's like this is a million dollar game that is only actually run 1 day a week. We wait until Wednesday night week after week to get all our new information and the only thing that happens in between is 15 POINTLESS new servers have been created. You cannot tell me that there is no way to speed up the server merging process.

(I know part of the community is against this) However, server merging is a necessity because of the way the new servers come out every day it seems like. We have to start condensing the population or else everyone will quit because they're stuck on 438 separate islands with like 5 other people.

Anyway, the point of this thread is just to ask why we only get told things one day per week as if that's the only day anything is done... Sounds really lazy to me and you're missing good opportunities to speed up processes that you've already set in motion and free up room for new things to be implemented. I understand having refreshing hot topics once a week, but there are other things you should be doing during the week that aren't happening.
