Let’s get in to what people have said they did that is illegal and how it isn't and how you as a player are affected by the TOS that you agreed to play this. When you create an account this website it forces you to agree to the TOS. On Facebook the page it takes you to page that also says that by continuing you are agreeing to the TOS. Now that that jargon is done let’s get down to some real * and let me give my point of view for people who only look at it from one point of view. I would like to say this is not me defending oasis for what they did I am just providing what I think the TOS means and some things people have said.
First and foremost, let’s start with the TOS. Everything from this point on will parts of the TOS that I will explain the best I can in my own words and not the words of a legal lawyer. So this is my opinion and how I read and understand them. If you don't agree that’s doesn't matter to me. This just my opinion and if I can come up with this opinion so can a lawyer. By using or accessing any OASIS game or application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. By accessing or using the Service, you agree that you have read, understood, and accepted to be bound by the Terms. OASIS reserves the right, in its sole discretion, modify or revise these Terms at any time, and you agree to be bound by such modifications or revisions. If you do not agree to the Terms, please do not use the Service.

This just means that if you play the game or access one of its services you are bound by the Terms of service. this part is easy. Lets get on to the hard crap that is hard to decipher.
OASIS may also terminate or suspend your access to any Communication Channels at any time, without notice, subject to the rules or Terms of the communication channels.
Engaging in cheating or any other activity that OASIS deems to be in conflict with the spirit of OASIS.

So, the top part is just to reinforce the last quote. This rule in the Term of Service is called a catch all rule. That means if it doesn't follow under on the ones above, it can follow under this one. So, if Oasis feels you are not within the spirt of Oasis they can ban your account so please be careful what you say and how you say it. The next part is one of the single most important things in this Terms of Service.
By visiting or using the Service, you agree that the laws of The People's Republic of China, without regard to principles of conflict of laws and regardless of your location, will govern these Terms of Service and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and OASIS. Any claim or dispute between you and OASIS that arises in whole or in part from your use of the Service shall be decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Haidian District，Beijing, and you hereby consent to, and waive all defenses of lack of personal jurisdiction and forum non conveniens with respect to venue and jurisdiction in Beijing.

To me this means this game fall under the laws of The People's Republic of China aka Mainland China. I am going to break it down because it easier for me to understand by sentence so I hope to explain this better.

This to me means that regardless of where you live, you consent to following under Chinese law when it comes to the game. Wither or not this is enforced would have to be taken to court to even deal with it. This is all I can say on this part because I am not sure where Oasis servers are.

For anyone but legal people this is crazy jargon come out the eyes and every orifice. I looked up one of words Forum Non Conveniens. This is quoted from wikipedia so if it’s wrong so be it. Generally, a corporation sued in the jurisdiction of its headquarters is not entitled to seek an FNC dismissal. Thus if an American corporation is sued in an area where it only transacts business but not where it has its headquarters, and the court dismisses based upon FNC, the plaintiff may refile the action in the jurisdiction of the corporation’s headquarters.

Lets just take a minute and change Chinese corporation with American corporation. That looks like what is going to happen to Oasis if you sue because their headquarters are in China and they are just doing transact business in the US and EU and wherever they are. So, if you did say sue them and the court dismisses based upon FNC, you would have to file the action in China. Okay let’s get off this topic cause it makes my head hurt as much as the Navy did when I was in.
So let’s talk about what people are talking about as *. Everything that I quote will be from threads and or videos or discussion i have had on discord. No names will be listed because its not about who said it’s about what they said. Let’s get this * storm going.
Some events are rigged to the point that you guys give 1 payout per server per day.

This is actually a common practice employed by Microsoft. I play tested for them and they gave me products and no real money. This game has the right to pay their roles or whatever they call it how they want. It’s not illegal and people just need to get over it and deal with it. Its *my but is not anything illegal.

I would just like to say this and even it was a joke, which I assume it was. He attempted to extort them for a new account, all his money he had paid as well as 200k coupons. He said and I quote And if you want me to delete the video, and stop talking about, I want to start on a new server. With all the salary and money I have topped up in coupons on that server. Under a new name, so people won't know it's me. And I want a additional 2000,000 coupons. I will stop posting on the forums. I will stop streaming, stop making videos etc. Because if you want me to sell these people out. It has to be a lot, and i can't use the same account and name, or I will get bombarded with hate.
This is not something to joke around. I can understand it’s a joke but a company my not take it as a joke.

I would like to say this because of recent youtubers and what not. Unless a lawyer tells you how to approach Oasis in a lawsuit situation do not listen. Unless they are a lawyer and has reviewed the case do not believe everything you hear.
I think that’s about it for me. Also for anyone who thinks I work for Oasis you are wrong. Just to make sure this doesn't get out of hand. These are my views and my responses and no one else’s. This is my take on how I read the TOS and is not an official legal representation of it. You cannot use this to fight Oasis or anyone else for that matter because I am not a lawyer and have no real knowledge on how laws work. I am just pointing out what I understand, what I think it means to me and to you. I am just a simple guy living that simple life.
