There is rumor that if you un-equip via double click, sometimes they eat each other.
I have never tried it but... well... that might be why. Check your lv/exps, see if any randomly grew

It shouldn't and is certainly a bug but...

The mods insist that the lack of confirmation bit is false, but like I said, i have never tested it so I won't know.

Someone should probably record a video of this stuff to prove whether a confirmation box ever pop up when stuff gets merged this way. Given that this isn't happening to only one or two player, I seriously doubt everything is working the way they should and the mods should think twice before blaming it on player inattention.

i dont think they cant blame a player for lack of attetion...how the hell i would not see a confirmation box for 7 inner gates gems. Im not a new player either to make those mistake if that was the case...i used to change them like that all the time until this. Still no replies from them great service!

It's possible that when leveling up your runes, something accidental happened
That's why it's advised to lock your important runes.

no, they were not locked...but its something that is not suppose to happen. Ever since i unlocked it i always equip and unequip the same way...only this time they were just gone. We always get a dialog box asking if we want to be any action, this time it did not.
