I'm ok with stacked odds and bad RNG. What I'm not ok with is capping certain jackpot ninjas to only drop once per day per server.
Is this true or not? They need to come out and say its NOT true because this is a big issue. And if it IS true...then let players know ahead of time so they dont re-charge like crazy trying to get things to drop. -

sed out of china.How true that is I couldn't even begin to say but I keep seeing how people are turning this into a item grab and that is sad. People making absurd demands for compensation I understand people are pissed. Instead of trying to get something from the company to shut up till the next issue comes up why not try and help avoid the next situation before it even comes up? Maybe I'am just from a different mindset of gaming but we as players have to accept some amount of blame for this * too.We are the ones that kept feeding the system in hopes we might get one thing or another when countless other people have been saying for months this that and the other thing was rigged. We chose to ignore them and keep feeding the machine. They are a company and they have to make a profit from what is considered a free to play game. The only real thing that everyone on both side of the its rigged argument can agree on is they need to communicate with the people better and more clearly. Knowing now what everyone thinks they do about the system does it make the game any less fun for you? Did they make the game not worth supporting to make it better? Personally nothing has changed for me cause if you have come solely for the game play element no wonder you want to quit. I came to play a game and enjoy the company of my fellow group mates and in the process of that if it cost me a few extra bucks I don't care cause to me it's equal to what I would have spent setting in a bar having a few drinks with friends. The game being worth it is solely one personas opinion and that will change dramatically from person to person. I just hope this builds a better communication lines between the community and the devs alike.
Coming from someone who doesn't mind writing walls of text, or reading them, could you think about adding spaces in between paragraphs? It makes them easier to read. xP
That being said, for the most part I agree with you, albeit what oasis is doing... is annoying... it is still a business, a lot of the things that came to light were nothing new to a f2p model, many people suspected this without streams/Aristeaus doing this. - Some people are even making him out to be a martyr, they are in their 'right' to do so, but yea two wrongs don't make a right... if he signed a NDA when he agreed to his position, I can see him being in a bit of legal trouble.
Speaking of aris, apparently what got him banned, wasn't the fact that he divulged their business practices, but because he tried to blackmail them.
Either way this is a storm that isn't going away, people are going to remember this/in all likely hood leave the game... ergo I for one do not agree with how arist went about with this, I understand he felt like he wasn't being listened too, but regardless I feel he essentially went from going to mom, to dad in an attempt to get what he/others wanted. - Yes the model *s, but it is the f2p model that is at play here, it isn't just oasis, they are trying to keep 'content' for the whales, they have released certain things in time that has helped free players along (medium threads in SA/Monthly event).... but regardless paying players will ALWAYS have a leg up over free players, they are a BUSINESS, without money (no matter how greedy they are being) they can NOT sustain the servers/keep updates coming. -

I'am happy you chimed in on this FG. You and Parasite are right about the cap that it needs to be clearly post that its capped. They cant give out to much info into how the game is run or programmed but they can tell us if something is a limited thing or not. Now for the sake of argument here say they did come out and say yes it was capped all along. How would you handle that info and what suggestions would you make to improve the communications to the community of things like this? -

Ah I see that is very understandable, time constraints can definitely be quite troublesome, I don't even have kids, and I have my own set of challenges that prevent me from making points that i'd like too/having the correct words/'grammar' while writing... but yea some challenges are more difficult to overcome than others, kids definitely are far more time consuming than dealing with just "chores" whatever they may be... no matter how exhausting they can be, to have to do all of those chores, as well as watch kids... yea... that isn't a fun thing to do, balancing that and the 'fun' things is truly not an easy thing to do.
That certainly is the question of the decade for the time being, with this game anyways. xD -

What would you suggest they do to correct these issues? What would they have to do to make things right with the players? -

There really should be, but sadly there isn't, the laws of online "gambling" is a lot more relaxed in the us... which is truly annoying, it is what allow business's to be as greedy as possible, which is what most F2P games do these days sadly. - Oasis isn't alone in this practice, the f2p model as a whole needs to change, but alas I can't see that happening, unless people speak with their money, and I do believe this will happen thanks to Arist falling on the knife so to speak, but I still disagree with how he did it. -

I think there isnt much to do now. Game is boring now; even if they rushed it, new game funcs or whatever wouldnt really help. They just need to kick Oasgames off and choose another publisher. -

He did a good thing bring this to light and getting the devs more in touch with the community. Now with that being said he really screwed the pooch when he showed his price tag to sell us out and ask for insane amounts to shut up. -

Alot of people are more focused on the rng aspect and totally missing all the other issues. Responding right now, would arguably be a 'death' sentence, oasis/it's affialates/those with a calmer approach to it right now are being vilified, no matter how much I understand it, I also understand wanting to try and let people vent their anger/staying out of it as much as possible. aka not wanting to incur the backlash from people. (Personally I would seriously consider locking ALL (including mine) of these threads down, and trying to make an somewhat unofficial... official response on this matter. They are being 'paid' to do a 'job' after all, and if flame wars aren't allowed then yea they need to arguably do something with these threads. Granted it can be open for interpretations at times.)
The amount of flame from people are who are rightfully upset, and letting their anger show is not easy to deal with at the moment, but still doing something rather than nothing is better imho, too much heated emotions at the moment over this whole ordeal. You used the word Casino?
That was super appropriate for the way the game works. Since a former employee hired by OASIS has stated events are rigged to gain the company the highest profits possible.
Let's look at simple Math if a server consisting of 6 people max(The people who spend a * ton on events and stuff) have a 1 in 60 chance(rough estimation of merged server population currently still playing) and the events are rigged as stated before they will be forced to spend more money no?
This is not RNG this is known as Gambling( If you have a 1 in 60 chance of getting Hashirama for the day, this limit is set by Oasis games and not based on pure RNG) THIS IS CALLED GAMBLING.
Meaning you are Gambling your Money on the chance of getting a rare which works ok for RNG based games but since the limit is MAX ONE( 1 ) drop per day and that one drop is taken by someone any additional MONEY put in the game by those large spenders is being robbed from them.
Note also OASIS GAMES previously removed the system message about drops for Hashirama/4th etc. so therefore even if known to players the drop rate is 1/day. OASIS hides the fact that someone has the drop.
Which only means a less likely chance of peoplel stop spending on the EVENT for the day?
This is not a game anymore it’s a tool for Gambling since any EVENT added the super rares are always a GAMBLE.
This is illegal and does not follow the principals set by NARUTO ONLINE CHINA and BAndai nor was it the intention of the Original.
