mods i just have to ask u, is giving the acc away and sharing an account the same?

People share accounts all the time and give away if they stop playing. It's not a big deal if the two mutually agree on it. Don't know why the guy above is complaining.

Though it doesn't mean that its commonly done means its not against the TOS.

Regardless, if the individual is okay with giving an account to someone, could be close friend or someone they like, then the other person shouldn't complain about it. Unless they don't like the person and want to ban everyone that quits and gives the account to someone else.

Whatever his rationale or motive behind his report, be it being salty, bitter, felt maligned, overly * about the account being shared or maybe even not getting a piece of the pie. He isn't doing anything wrong here and have the full right to bring this up.

I wanted to add Black and White rules are written down, but I'll refrain that here. We've seen rules changes here all too often... including the 1 min before midnight Arena Rule change. ;P

+we have youtubers on other peoples acc all the time. ofc its not the same concept (and no lol dont ban the youtubers or the owners for giving u guys a bit of PR on youtube) But since i read a mod saying its not allowed to give away account, would the same rule apply to sharing it? Because i love creating loopholes and well instead of giving it your sharing it you dont have that much time the next 10years to play but u will come back a day.

i have my reasons for telling lol, plus he's not sharing it, he simply gave it away. he's being poisonous to my server plus i have to tell if he's really breaking the rules.

You are just little rat. Hes probably the best player in your server and you just wants him gone. Git gud. Plus, you have no proof. I play this game using my cell phone, at work, at starbucks, and different ips are used all the time. dont know why this 2 week server dude is complaining

Someone is *hurt and needs a way to get that player out of the way. If he is being toxic, you have a topic in forum called Report of Misbehaviour. Print screen what he says and post it there. Dont try to go around and find something where there's not. Pathetic.

Mate, any proofs? Ip-checking means nothing, as somebody has pointed out, so if you want actions taken, you need to have proofs.

lets just make one thing clear no one "owns" an account. All accounts are leased to you in a limited nature: in such nature the lease is non transferable to another. Therefore, it isnt really against TOS, but more so that the company has no obligation to honor the account with the new user. Proving that this happened is another thing entirely since ips are just locations of access and not physical users, so just an ip alone is not proof of a situation of transferring of user. However, multiple access points from different ips that are not consistent could help with providing evidence to support a claim that a user is not the owner.

Again that means nothing, i have an account and my girlfriend has another. When i can't play due to work schedules, she logs on mine and does what is needed to do. Im still the owner of the account, and im letting another person who is my known one do stuff on it. Multiple access points would be registered. plus i log in from the most various types of connection, shopping mall, cafe, work, home. That proves nothing. I disagree with this. Checking recent ip's tells a lot. If it's in the same city vs in different states/countries. It's impossible to travel extreme distances in a matter of minutes. It can definitely tell if you are sharing or playing in different places. Now the user could be using a VPN which defeats my arguement. I do not think account sharing is against ToS (could be wrong) as long as both/multiple parties agree to share it. Now multiple accounts on 1 server is against the rules, but this isn't the case.

I have a private message with a Mod that states and i quote "Hello, players are not allowed to share their accounts.
Regards."

Proving it by checking IP address logins is an invalid way of showing multiple people are using the account.
Almost everyone uses VPN's (IP address changers) now. We were even told on multiple occasions to use VPN here to log into the game when having issues getting into the servers.

He gave his account cause he want to stop playing, so why are you gonna report him? It's his decision to give his account or not. Is the reason he is strong that's why you want him gone so you'll have no worry if someone use his account?
