Currently I am unable to beat Exam 86, I've tried a multitude of teams and generally destroy the 3 Taijutsu enemies within the first 3 or 4 rounds, but I can never do enough damage to the Fire enemy, Ignite seems to be my only option but before he can die from it, the fight reaches max rounds and causes me to automatically lose. Has anyone found a reliable team for Lightning players to beat this exam? I haven't got that many characters, mainly the very basic ones. I have seen potential in spamming stuff like Poison however that seems to result in my poison users dying very quickly and being picked off by the Taijutsu enemies while dealing significant damage to the Fire enemy. Any help would be much appreciated, I don't plan to rush leveling up just to change main characters. Reply

You could switch Sai for GNW Kankuro for the extra poisoning/ignition.

Maybe you could try Shippuden Kankuro? In some guides I read these two are interchangeble. Or maybe Karin for poison layering?

I made it happen, you need the Lightning clone to acupuncture the fire puppet and protect kankuro's puppet while he stacks on poison every round and then use your main character to hunt down taijutsu puppets trying to use mysteries.

If you acupuncture the fire puppet round 1 then the taijutsu puppet in the very back will use a mystery in round 2, the other issue is the front taijutsu puppet has bloodlust while the others dont, if you get lucky with combos round 1 using purple deer summon he'll basically be dead sometime during round 2.

Then it's a matter of making sure Kankuro's puppet is always out, it's not the most efficient team and they don't totally combo as well as I would like but for the sake of this exam it was plenty.
