Additional comments
While we in Hiruzen still have a fair amount of constant players, they're concentrated in one group for the most part. This top group's dominance is well-deserved (as I was once part of it I have a lot of respect for all of its members and I know that the state of the server is not their fault), but it's obviously not good for war if one group steamrolls the others and continues to take its members. The reason why I'm so desperate for a merge is because with 3 groups total and 2 barely hanging on, we're on the path to having 2 or even only 1 group in war, which means less packs, less war rewards, bored and quitting players, and a completely silent server.

The three groups are stayin' alive right now (shout out to the ever-patient Exonerated; love you guys ^_^), but just a few snapshots: the leaders of 2 of the 3 are away for personal reasons and will be indefinitely, so other active players have to take over. One of the groups had 6 people online last war (Wednesday 3/29). The group I was in right before Exonerated consisted of a few real players and the remains of the top players and friends who had quit or taken a hiatus, one in the top 10 and one in the top 3 (at the time).

We've needed a merge for a long time, and reflecting on some of my friends who quit and some recent shifting has led me to take this a lot more seriously and actually write a request. I speak for every serious player in Server 24; we're getting frustrated at always winning or losing; frustrated at being beaten by or beating the same people; worried that our friends will keep leaving for other servers or for good; and impatient for a much-needed merge with other struggling servers so we can form stable groups and make the game interesting once again.
